Jensen Huang appeared unannounced at Saturn's Xperion gaming venue on Alexanderplatz on October 18 to present Nvidia's RTX Spark chip in Windows laptops starting at €2,899, giving five signed devices to fans and calling Germany Nvidia's largest European base.
On Friday evening, October 18, 2026, Jensen Huang, CEO of Nvidia — the world's most valuable publicly traded company at over $5 trillion — made a surprise visit to Saturn's Xperion gaming venue at Berlin's Alexanderplatz to launch the RTX Spark chip, Nvidia's first processor combining CPU and GPU with up to 128 GB of shared memory. The chip enables large AI models to run locally on consumer devices without cloud connectivity. Huang called it 'the biggest leap that has ever happened for Windows.' Laptops featuring the chip from Microsoft, HP, MSI, ASUS, and Lenovo start at €2,899, with initial deliveries beginning in late November. Huang chose Berlin as the only European city for a personal appearance, explaining that Germany is Nvidia's largest European location, with 150 researchers in Berlin working on robotics, autonomous driving, computer graphics, and telecoms. He gave away five signed laptops to fans in attendance. The Berlin visit continued on October 19 with the federal Invest summit at ESMT, and a keynote at Nvidia's GTC Berlin conference (October 20–22) at the Tempodrom was planned for October 21.
