Dozens of New Yorkers dressed as Nathan Fielder and Elizabeth Holmes converged on Washington Square Park on Sunday for an unofficial look-alike contest tied to the documentary 'You Can See Everything.' A comedian and a PR worker took home the top prizes.
Washington Square Park was taken over on Sunday afternoon by contestants in an unofficial look-alike contest inspired by the documentary 'You Can See Everything,' which features filmmaker Nathan Fielder and disgraced tech executive Elizabeth Holmes. Dozens of participants arrived at the Washington Square arch around 1 p.m. Those portraying Holmes wore blonde wigs and wide-eyed expressions, while those channelling Fielder swung headphones around their necks and carried laptops. Kor Skeete, who appeared in Fielder's television project 'The Rehearsal,' served as a guest MC. Comedian Nicole Travolta won the Elizabeth Holmes category, crediting years of dedicated impressions and an Instagram following. PR worker Joe Sivick took the Fielder prize. The event drew large crowds of spectators in the Greenwich Village park and was covered by amNY as a lively piece of New York City pop-culture street life.
