Kaylia Nemour Targets Women's All-Around World Title at Rotterdam Gymnastics Championships
Algeria's Kaylia Nemour, top qualifier with 55.999 points, competes in the Women's Individual All-Around Final of the 2026 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships in Rotterdam on the evening of October 23.
The Women's Individual All-Around Final of the 54th World Artistic Gymnastics Championships takes place at Rotterdam Ahoy on the evening of Friday, October 23, 2026, with Algeria's Kaylia Nemour as the clear favourite. Nemour topped all-around qualifying with 55.999 points, posting the highest uneven bars score in the entire competition (14.933) — her signature apparatus as the reigning Paris 2024 Olympic bars champion — and placed fifth on balance beam (14.133). She holds the world's highest all-around score, set at the 2026 Mediterranean Games in Taranto (57.750). Despite a 0.3 neutral deduction on floor for going out of bounds in qualifying, her margin over challengers is comfortable. American Skye Blakely and Russian gymnast Milana Kaiumova are among the 24 qualifiers pushing hardest. Earlier in the championships week, China shocked the gymnastics world by breaking the United States' 16-year unbeaten run in the women's team final, winning gold by a razor-thin 0.233-point margin. Japan won the men's team title, while Daiki Hashimoto claimed the men's all-around crown on October 22 with 85.998 points.
