Malaysian Boy Bursts Into Tears of Joy After Scoring Perfect 100% in Exam

A video posted by Malaysian father Hafiz to Threads captured the moment his son Hifzi discovered he had scored a perfect 100% on his Fiqh exam — a dramatic turnaround from a previous midterm score of just 50%. As Hafiz flipped through the exam papers and read out scores of 80 and 88, Hifzi urged him to check the last one. When Hafiz announced the top mark, Hifzi jumped up and down and burst into tears of joy while clutching his papers. When asked what reward he wanted for his achievement, Hifzi's answer was charmingly modest: ayam madu — honey chicken from a local Mamak stall. The family later took him there for his celebratory meal, followed by a sushi feast for his mother. Speaking to World of Buzz, Hafiz credited his wife's dedicated evening study sessions for the academic turnaround, joking that she had entered "lion mode" every night to help their son. His wife, whom the children call Mama, works full-time as an autism therapist yet remained deeply involved in her children's education at home. Because both mother and son had put in so much effort, the family decided a single celebration was not enough — Hifzi got his ayam madu, and Mama got her sushi.
