'Remember November 2026 Is Coming' — The Viral AI Polar Bear Meme Has Finally Arrived

Back in 2023, an eerie AI-generated image of a polar bear appeared on TikTok alongside a Russian caption that translated to: "This is a November meme from 2026, you won't understand yet." The post fascinated TikTokers, who turned it into a running meme format — though it largely went dormant over the following years.

The format got a second life at the end of August 2026, when TikToker @bigbakdiskk28 posted a new AI-generated video of the bear. The clip opens with Oliver Tree's "Life Goes On," then zooms into the polar bear's face as the bear sings, "Remember November 2026 is coming" — a direct callback to the original 2023 image and its cryptic promise of a future meme.

The revival sparked a fresh wave of content across TikTok. Creators began pairing the singing bear video with images of calendars, movie posters for upcoming November 2026 releases, and similar material that played on the imminent arrival of the month. Many of these memes carry an eerie, foreboding quality reminiscent of creepypastas, as though November 2026 might somehow be cursed. The format's appeal has always rested on the gap between its ominous tone and the complete absence of any actual prediction behind it.
