The Golden State Valkyries beat the Atlanta Dream 67–62 on the road to level the 2026 WNBA Finals at two games apiece, with Gabby Williams starring and the defence forcing 18 turnovers.
Golden State Valkyries won Game 4 of the 2026 WNBA Finals 67–62 at Atlanta's home court to level the best-of-seven series at 2-2. Gabby Williams led all scorers with 17 points, while Tiffany Hayes added 13. Atlanta's Rhyne Howard top-scored with 19 points and 8 rebounds, but the Dream's star Angel Reese was effectively shut down by the Valkyries' defence, finishing with just 8 points on 2-for-12 shooting and committing 6 turnovers. Golden State forced 18 turnovers in total — 14 coming in the first half, Atlanta's worst playoff half in franchise history — and Kiah Stokes anchored the paint with 3 blocks and 16 rebounds. Her 14 blocks across the four Finals games broke the previous WNBA Finals record of 12 set by Brittney Griner and Sylvia Fowles. Williams sealed the lead with a crucial steal-and-score with 22 seconds remaining in the first half as the Valkyries built a 14-point halftime lead. Atlanta shot just 33.3 percent overall and 4-for-23 from three-point range in the defeat. The series now returns to San Francisco for Game 5.
