Solis, a South American-inspired grill restaurant, opened its debut permanent site at 26 Kingly Street, Soho, W1B 5QD on Monday 20 October 2026. The restaurant was founded by Ana Gonçalves and Zijun Meng, the duo behind the acclaimed roaming Tātā Eatery concept, who launched Solis as a residency at Arcade in Battersea in 2023 before securing a standalone Soho home. The menu features dishes including torta pascoalina, caramelised onion and mushroom croquetas, Uruguayan prawn cocktail, elote grilled corn and signature meat grills. Solis opens during an exceptionally strong October for London restaurant launches that also includes Dishoom Borough, Spiritland at the Barbican, and Bubala's new Covent Garden venue. The opening was included in Time Out London's guide to the best 12 new London restaurants of October 2026, published 1 October, which remained one of the outlet's most-clicked food articles throughout the month and drew particularly strong interest around the October 20 opening cluster.
