Chelsea Weighing €100m Bid for Fermin Lopez as PSG Prepare €80m Offer
Chelsea are reportedly considering a potential €100 million bid for Barcelona attacker Fermin Lopez, with PSG separately said to be readying an €80 million offer for the Spain international.
The transfer rumour mill was busy on 29 October, with Barcelona attacker Fermin Lopez emerging as a major target. According to CaughtOffside, Chelsea are "considering a massive bid" potentially worth €100 million for the Spain international. PSG are separately reported to be preparing a "serious" €80 million offer. Chelsea had tried to sign Lopez in the summer of 2025, but he had no desire to leave and instead signed a new long-term contract with Barcelona in January. Despite that, Chelsea remain keen.
Elsewhere, Como made clear they have no intention of selling Argentine playmaker Nico Paz in January, despite growing Premier League interest from Arsenal, Chelsea, and Manchester United. TEAMtalk reports that a summer move could demand a fee in excess of €100 million, while Paz's former club Real Madrid retain the option to re-sign him for €80 million next year.
Chelsea were also named as holding "confirmed" interest in Real Madrid right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold, per Simon Phillips. The 28-year-old England international has struggled for regular minutes under José Mourinho, and Arsenal and Liverpool have also been linked. A top source is said to have verified Chelsea's interest as "fully legit."
AS Monaco striker Paris Brunner, 20, drew interest from both Arsenal and Chelsea. Monaco may need to sell as early as January due to financial issues, with a loan-back arrangement floated as a possible solution.
Among the briefer items, Newcastle United stepped up their interest in Wisła Kraków left-back Jakub Krzyzanowski, and PSG were linked with a January move for Bayer Leverkusen's Ibrahim Maza.
