Alexander Brothers Each Sentenced to 30 Years in Prison for Sex Trafficking
Real-estate brothers Oren, Alon, and Tal Alexander were each sentenced to 30 years in federal prison for drugging and raping dozens of women over two decades.
On October 27–28, 2026, twins Oren and Alon Alexander (both 39) and their older brother Tal Alexander (40), once prominent luxury real-estate brokers at Douglas Elliman, were each sentenced to 30 years in federal prison by U.S. District Judge Valerie E. Caproni. Prosecutors identified at least 70 female victims assaulted by one or more brothers at upscale properties in the Hamptons, Aspen, and elsewhere, beginning as far back as 2001 or 2002. The men used their wealth and access to luxury venues to drug and assault the victims. Eleven women testified at sentencing; one told the court: "Every second felt like an eternity of terror." Prosecutors had sought life sentences; the defense requested the 15-year minimum. The judge settled on 30 years, rejecting both extremes. The brothers, who maintained their innocence, have been held without bail since their 2024 arrest. The case drew wide public attention as a reckoning with predatory behavior among the wealthy.
