London's New Year's Eve fireworks tickets go on sale on 23 October
Mayor Sadiq Khan announced that the first batch of tickets for London's New Year's Eve fireworks on the South Bank will go on sale at noon on Friday 23 October.
The Mayor of London's office announced on 16 October 2026 that the first batch of tickets for London's New Year's Eve fireworks will go on sale at midday on Friday 23 October through official seller Ticketmaster. The display takes place on Thursday 31 December at 8pm, launched from barges on the Thames and from the London Eye, with ticketed viewing areas on both banks. Londoner tickets stay at £20 and £35, with a higher £40 and £55 band for visitors from outside the capital, and a four-ticket per-person limit. A second batch of tickets will be released on a date to be confirmed. The announcement was carried on the Mayor's press release page and Londonist, and prominent in weekend festive previews across London media going into 17-18 October. The event is one of Europe's largest ticketed public fireworks displays and typically sells out within hours; the Mayor's office urged Londoners to buy early rather than relying on crowded unticketed vantage points along the river.
