NFL returns to Wembley as Texans face Jaguars in final London game of 2026
The Houston Texans played the Jacksonville Jaguars at Wembley Stadium on Sunday afternoon, closing out the 2026 NFL London Games series.
The 2026 NFL International Series concluded at Wembley Stadium on Sunday 18 October, with the Houston Texans facing the Jacksonville Jaguars at a 2.30pm kick-off (local time). It was the final of three NFL regular-season games staged in London in October and drew a full house to the national stadium. Time Out London's festival guide flagged the fixture as the standout sports event of the weekend, with the Jaguars continuing their long-running tradition of 'home' games at Wembley. The capital hosted the matches on consecutive weekends, with crowds spilling across Wembley Park, hospitality fan zones along Olympic Way, and a large American tailgate presence. Transport operators warned of heavy demand on the Metropolitan, Jubilee and Bakerloo lines around kick-off. The match capped a packed autumn sporting weekend in the capital that also included Chelsea Women vs Tottenham Women in the WSL and heavyweight boxing at The O2. The NFL London series has run annually since 2007 and now routinely sells out Wembley's 90,000 seats, with the league signalling continued expansion of its UK schedule in the coming seasons.
