India picked up two silvers and multiple bronzes in Nagoya on 1 October, taking their Asian Games 2026 tally to 65 medals as the Games moved towards the final weekend.
India added seven medals on Day 12 of the Asian Games 2026 in Aichi-Nagoya on 1 October 2026, taking their overall tally to 65 (10 gold, 23 silver, 32 bronze). Nitesh won silver in the men's Greco-Roman 97kg wrestling, while sailors Manu Francis and Prince Kurisinkal Noble took silver in the men's skiff. Bronze medals came through archer Ganesh Mani Ratnam Thirumuru in men's individual recurve, as well as the men's and women's team squash sides, both of whom lost semi-finals (women to Hong Kong, men to Malaysia 1-2). The haul kept India firmly inside the top ten of the medal table with just the final weekend of competition remaining before the Games close on 4 October in Nagoya.
