London Tube and Train Closures: Full List for the Weekend of 24–25 October 2026
Several London Underground lines, the DLR, and overground services face closures and reductions across 24–25 October 2026, with Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur supporters heading to Stamford Bridge advised to use the Piccadilly line to Earls Court instead of the District line.
London commuters and visitors face widespread Tube and rail disruptions across the weekend of 24–25 October 2026. The District line has no service between Edgware Road and Ealing Broadway, Richmond or Wimbledon for the full weekend, with a further suspension between Embankment and those same destinations. The Circle line is halted between Edgware Road and both Aldgate and Tower Hill on both days. Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur supporters travelling to Stamford Bridge have been advised to take the Piccadilly line to Earls Court and walk to the stadium, as the District line is suspended across that corridor.
On Sunday 25 October, the DLR runs no service between Shadwell and Tower Gateway. The Elizabeth line operates a reduced westbound service between Hayes & Harlington and Maidenhead: from 11am to 7pm, trains skip Burnham and Taplow; after 7pm, those two stations continue to be omitted, but the line itself remains in operation. The Mildmay line is suspended between Willesden Junction and Shepherds Bush from 7:30pm Saturday until noon Sunday. Windrush trains do not run between Sydenham and Crystal Palace on Sunday. The Waterloo and City line observes its regular weekend closure.
