Boeing and Coca-Cola Set to Report Third-Quarter Results on October 27
Boeing heads into its third-quarter 2026 earnings report on October 27 needing to show its turnaround is real, while Coca-Cola reports the same day facing tougher year-over-year comparisons after a 35.7% run in its share price.
Boeing and Coca-Cola both release third-quarter 2026 results on October 27, making it one of the most closely watched single reporting days of the autumn earnings season. Boeing's second quarter offered a mixed picture of recovery: revenue rose 8.0% to $24.56 billion, deliveries reached 171, and free cash flow turned positive at $631 million — yet the core loss of $0.76 per share missed the $0.34 consensus estimate, partly due to a $280 million VC-25B charge. Shares remain down 12.8% year to date. For Q3, Boeing guided to positive free cash flow in the low hundreds of millions, even after a $700 million Department of Justice payment. The key figures to watch are free cash flow and progress toward ramping 737 production to 47 aircraft per month, with first Max 10 deliveries expected in 2027. The Max 10 received its type certification on October 20, 2026, a milestone Secretary of Transportation Sean Duffy called "almost a ten-year process." Major airlines have ordered more than 1,400 of the jets. Rising oil prices add a layer of complexity: West Texas Intermediate crude stood at $107.89 a barrel on October 20. For Coca-Cola, results are expected before the New York Stock Exchange opens, with an investor call at 8:30 a.m. ET. Analysts will watch whether unit case volume holds up against tougher year-over-year comparisons in the second half, and whether the company reaffirms its full-year organic revenue growth target of around 5%.
