MCM London Comic Con 2026 Opens at ExCeL for Three Days of Cosplay, Panels and Gaming

MCM London Comic Con kicked off its autumn 2026 edition at ExCeL London in the Royal Docks on Friday 23 October, running through Sunday 25 October. The three-day event — timed to coincide with October half-term — features celebrity guest meet-and-greets, costume competitions, panel discussions, tabletop and video gaming zones, and a trading floor for comics, collectibles and merchandise. MCM Comic Con is one of the UK's largest pop-culture conventions, drawing tens of thousands of visitors over the weekend. Families, gaming enthusiasts and film and TV fans make up a large share of attendees. The ExCeL venue in east London's Royal Docks is well positioned for visitors arriving on the Elizabeth line or DLR, although both face partial disruptions this weekend. The autumn edition typically draws a broad range of cosplay categories spanning anime, superhero franchises, fantasy and video game characters.
