On October 1, 2026, Pierpaolo Piccioli staged his Balenciaga Spring/Summer 2027 womenswear show in Paris, a highly watched outing from the former Valentino designer in his new role as Balenciaga's creative director. The collection blended lightness, flowing texture and sculptural movement, including a notable peplum leather jacket and a new chestnut suede 'Rodeo' handbag. The front row drew Brooklyn Peltz Beckham and Nicola Peltz Beckham, Lauryn Hill, Shailene Woodley, Kaya Scodelario, Sarah Pidgeon, Ella Beatty, Deacon Phillippe and Anna Van Patten.
