Jim Carrey marries longtime girlfriend Min Ah in private Los Angeles ceremony
Hollywood star Jim Carrey, 64, has married his longtime partner Min Ah in a small private ceremony in Los Angeles, marking his third marriage.
Entertainment outlets around the world reported on October 1, 2026, that Canadian-American comedy star Jim Carrey has quietly married his longtime girlfriend Min Ah in a small, private ceremony in Los Angeles. The couple, who were first photographed together in 2022, made their public debut only in February 2026 at the César Awards in Paris, where Carrey delivered a speech in French thanking his 'sublime companion'. Min Ah, believed to be of Korean descent, has kept a notably low profile throughout the relationship. The wedding is Carrey's third: he was previously married to Melissa Womer from 1987 to 1995, with whom he shares daughter Jane, and later to his 'Dumb and Dumber' co-star Lauren Holly in 1996 for less than a year. Carrey, who had publicly said he was retiring from acting, is returning to the screen in Illumination's 'Sonic the Hedgehog 4'. Washington Times, CTV News, Korea Times and Yahoo led coverage.
