Avengers: Doomsday Exclusive Preview Set for World Series Game 1

MLB's official social-media account has announced that an exclusive preview of Avengers: Doomsday will air during World Series Game 1 on October 23, with the Fantastic Four's Instagram page also teasing the surprise ahead of the broadcast.

Marvel fans have been given a heads-up to tune in to Game 1 of the World Series on October 23 for an exclusive preview of Avengers: Doomsday. MLB's official X account posted the announcement, while the Fantastic Four's Instagram page added a playful tease — "Our heroes have stepped up to protect the planet, but nothing's more daunting than stepping up to bat!" — and hinted at a "fantastic surprise" for viewers, tied to Frosty Treats and the Future Foundation. Game 1 tips off at 8 pm ET on FOX, though no exact time has been confirmed for when the preview will appear during the broadcast.

The film brings heroes from three distinct universes onto a deadly collision course with an existential threat unlike anything they have faced before. Robert Downey Jr. makes a highly anticipated return to the MCU, this time playing the iconic supervillain Victor von Doom rather than Tony Stark. Chris Evans is back as Steve Rogers, and reports — unconfirmed — suggest Doom reveals his face to Rogers alone. The ensemble also includes Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova, Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm, and Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards. Joe and Anthony Russo direct the film, which opens in theaters on December 18, 2026.
