The 19th edition of ITB Asia, Asia-Pacific's largest travel trade show, opened on 21 October at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore, under the theme 'Experiences in Motion: Human-Centred Design in Travel & Tourism.'
ITB Asia 2026 launched its three-day run on 21 October at the Sands Expo & Convention Centre, Singapore, welcoming more than 18,000 participants, over 1,000 exhibitors, 1,500 hosted buyers, and 160-plus speakers. The 19th edition is themed 'Experiences in Motion: Human-Centred Design in Travel & Tourism,' with a sharp focus on how shifting traveller expectations are reshaping destination marketing, hospitality products and tour design. Three brand-new Experience Zones spotlighting gastronomy tourism, wellness tourism, and adventure tourism were unveiled on the show floor for the first time. Co-located events — MICE Show Asia, which reported an 83 percent increase in exhibition space, and Travel Tech Asia — run alongside the main show. Major tourism boards present include Thailand, Malaysia, Spain, Fiji, and the Maldives; airlines include EVA Airways; and hotel chains represented range from Wyndham to Radisson and Meliá. Over three conference theatres, more than 150 industry leaders will address topics from artificial intelligence to sustainability and changing travel demand patterns. The event runs through 23 October.
