Bill Murray Tees Off Across Ireland in New Paramount+ and BBC Series
Bill Murray and author Tom Coyne embark on a six-episode golf adventure across Ireland's legendary courses in "A Course Called Ireland," premiering October 25 on Paramount+ and BBC Two.
"A Course Called Ireland" launches globally on Paramount+ on Sunday, October 25, 2026 — simultaneously debuting on BBC Two, BBC One Northern Ireland, and BBC iPlayer in the United Kingdom. The six-part, half-hour documentary series follows Bill Murray and bestselling author Tom Coyne as they play their way across the island's most celebrated golf courses, from the windswept links of Northern Ireland to the rolling fairways of the Republic. Murray is joined by his brothers Joel and John Murray, creating an unscripted family road trip at the heart of the show, along with celebrity guests including Irish actor Chris O'Dowd, comedian Joanne McNally, and American footballer Jason Kelce. The series is adapted from Tom Coyne's New York Times bestseller of the same name. Rather than a conventional sports documentary, it unfolds as a warm, comedic portrait of Ireland itself — its landscapes, its people, and its soul — as seen through the eyes of one of Hollywood's most beloved and unpredictable stars. Producers describe it as "a hilarious and unpredictable love letter to the game of golf."
