Celebrity Traitors Series 2: Tie Vote Cliffhanger Carries Into Episode 9

Episode 8 of BBC One's The Celebrity Traitors ended with a dramatic deadlocked vote, leaving the outcome suspended until the next episode of the ten-part series.

The Celebrity Traitors Series 2 on BBC One gripped British audiences on 25 October 2026 following the cliffhanger that closed Episode 8. In that episode, the Traitors chose to murder Miranda overnight. During the mission, the players banked £13,500 and were given the opportunity to award a special power — The Dagger — which grants its holder a double vote at the Round Table. Fellow Traitors James A. and Maya chose to give The Dagger to Kenny, one of their own. At the Round Table, the first round of voting ended in a tie; under the show's rules, a second vote was held in which only players not involved in the tie could participate. Kenny's deciding double vote was not revealed before the episode ended, carrying the suspense directly into Episode 9. With only two episodes remaining in the ten-episode run — scheduled for Thursday and Friday on BBC One — viewers are left guessing who will be exposed as a Traitor. The second series, presented by Claudia Winkleman and produced by Studio Lambert, began airing on 1 October 2026. Filmed at Ardross Castle in Scotland during May and June 2026, it features 21 celebrities competing to win up to £100,000 for their chosen charities. A companion show, The Celebrity Traitors: Uncloaked, hosted by Ed Gamble, has also returned alongside the main series.
