Dexter: Resurrection Season 2 Teaser Builds Halloween Hype for October 30 Premiere
Paramount+ ramps up promotion for Dexter: Resurrection Season 2, starring Michael C. Hall alongside Uma Thurman and Brian Cox, set to premiere the day before Halloween on October 30.
Showtime's Dexter: Resurrection Season 2 is set to premiere on Paramount+ on October 30 — one day before Halloween — with a new teaser trailer that leans into the spooky timing. The clip features Michael C. Hall as Dexter Morgan visiting an optometrist for a vision exam, where on-screen text flashes the premiere date along with the phrases "He's Back" and "He's Sharper Than Ever," followed by a shot of Dexter handling his knives. The new season finds Dexter caught between two dangerous killers: a seasoned figure played by Brian Cox, carrying decades of notoriety, and a fresh young threat portrayed by Dan Stevens, terrorising New York in unprecedented ways. Uma Thurman returns as Charley, and Jack Alcott is back as Harrison Morgan, who has joined the NYPD and continues his own pursuit of justice as father and son face their darkest chapter yet. Showrunner and executive producer Clyde Phillips also finds time for a more grounded antagonist: Dexter is battling a mid-life crisis. Bokeem Woodbine joins the cast as Capt. Mixon. The October 30 premiere falls just under a month after the franchise's 20th anniversary — the original Dexter debuted on October 1, 2006.
