Four Seasons announces cliffside Tangier resort with 99 keys
Four Seasons unveiled plans for a 99-room cliffside resort at Cap Malabata, Tangier, overlooking the Strait of Gibraltar, with 27 standalone villas.
Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts announced on 9-10 October 2026 a new 99-room property at Cap Malabata, east of Tangier, Morocco, perched on cliffs looking across the Strait of Gibraltar toward Spain. The project, developed in partnership with Royal Resort Cap Malabata (backed by Gulf investor GFH), will include 27 standalone villas and more than 260 metres of waterfront on the stretch where the Mediterranean meets the Atlantic. Four dining venues, spa and wellness facilities, swimming pools and family amenities are planned, with architecture by Arjitec and interiors by Goddard Littlefair. The resort will become Four Seasons' fourth property in Morocco, after Marrakech, Casablanca and the Taghazout Bay opening. No formal opening date has been announced. The news dominated luxury-hotel coverage on 10 October, picked up by Hotel News Resource, PAX, Open Jaw, La Revue des Hotels and Travel + Leisure's trade feeds.
