Ryanair unveils first 29 new routes for summer 2027
Ryanair opened bookings on the first 29 new routes of its summer 2027 schedule, with regional UK airports at the centre of the expansion.
Europe's largest low-cost carrier Ryanair put on sale on 10 October 2026 the first 29 new routes of its summer 2027 programme, with 11 of them involving UK airports. The airline said its summer 2027 schedule will run to more than 2,500 routes across a network of around 230 destinations, and that further announcements will follow. Highlights of the first batch include Alicante-Naples, Budapest-Leeds Bradford, Malaga-Norwich, Leeds Bradford-Tirana, Bournemouth-Porto, Dubrovnik-Warsaw Modlin and Newcastle-Rhodes. Leeds Bradford alone gained four new links, while regional airports in the north of England and in southern Spain and Portugal were particularly targeted. Fares were advertised from GBP 58.99, and Ryanair separately marked eight million passengers through Glasgow airport. The story topped travel sections across UK regional press and aviation-trade outlets on 10 October, as holidaymakers rushed to secure early fares.
