Nvidia boss Jensen Huang surprises Berlin gaming store
Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang made a surprise appearance in a Berlin gaming store on 17 October 2026 to present a new generation of AI laptops.
On 17 October 2026 the chief executive of Nvidia, currently the world's most valuable company, turned up unannounced at a well-known Berlin gaming store to launch a new line of AI-powered laptops. According to the Tagesspiegel report, Jensen Huang was welcomed by fans and tech journalists as he unveiled devices built around Nvidia's latest GeForce RTX chips, which the company says can run large AI models locally on the laptop rather than in the cloud. Huang used the Berlin stop to pitch the city as a hub for European AI developers and gaming studios and demonstrated real-time generative tools and ray-traced game scenes on the new machines. Several hardware partners presented their models alongside, and the first laptops are expected to go on sale in the following weeks. The visit drew a long queue of visitors into the shop in the city centre and briefly turned the store into one of the busiest gaming spots of the day.
