London Tube and Train Closures This Weekend: District, Circle, Elizabeth and More Affected

Major planned closures hit the District and Circle lines across both days of 24–25 October, with further disruption on the DLR, Elizabeth, Mildmay and Windrush lines.

Londoners face a busy weekend of planned closures across the capital's transport network on Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 October. The District line is suspended between Edgware Road and Ealing Broadway, Richmond and Wimbledon on both days, and there are also no services between Embankment and Ealing Broadway, Kensington (Olympia), Richmond or Wimbledon. The Circle line has no trains between Edgware Road and Aldgate, or between Edgware Road and Tower Hill, on both days. Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur fans heading to Stamford Bridge have been told to take the Piccadilly line to Earls Court and walk to the ground from there. People attending the London Literature Festival should also be aware of the Circle line disruption. On Sunday, the DLR has no service between Shadwell and Tower Gateway, while the Elizabeth line runs a reduced service between Hayes & Harlington and Maidenhead, with westbound trains not stopping at Burnham or Taplow between 11am and 7pm, and no stops at those stations after 7pm either. The Mildmay line is suspended between Willesden Junction and Shepherds Bush from 7.30pm Saturday until noon on Sunday. The Windrush line has no trains between Sydenham and Crystal Palace on Sunday. The Waterloo & City line remains closed, as it is every weekend.
