Rostock rapper Marteria rocks Max-Schmeling-Halle
Rostock rapper Marteria played a sold-out show at Berlin's Max-Schmeling-Halle on his new album tour.
Rostock rapper Marteria filled Berlin's Max-Schmeling-Halle on 16 October 2026, a show reviewed in the Berliner Zeitung on 17 October 2026. The concert was part of his tour for the new album 'Zum Glück in die Zukunft III', a sequel to the hip-hop records that first made him a household name a decade earlier. The Berlin crowd — several thousand strong — sang along to older hits and warmly received new songs. On stage, Marteria told the audience that playing in the capital still felt 'simply cooler', and he mixed classic tracks with new material backed by his live band. The review highlighted a strong visual production, a long encore and a political interlude in which the rapper spoke out against discrimination. The tour continues through other German cities after the Berlin stop.
