Tulsa King Season 4 Episode 2: Dwight Grieves While Trouble Mounts for His Crew
The second episode of Tulsa King Season 4 follows Dwight Manfredi as he processes Margaret's death while dealing with a New York emissary, a fake wine racket, and growing danger around Tyson after the killing of Santiago.
Season 4 of Tulsa King continues in its second episode, set squarely in the wake of the plane crash that killed Margaret and Governor Cal on their way to the Mariana Islands. Amanda, now serving as Oklahoma's governor, quickly finds her idealism tested when Bradley arrives to press her for permission to build his AI data farm, Echelon Harvest, in return for campaign funding. She also hears from Sackrider, who has been living in Dwight's pocket since Season 3 and is told to revoke Dwight's liquor license.
Dwight meets Musso at the Clairmont Diner hoping for answers from FAA data, but gets little clarity on the crash. Back at the Bred 2 Buck Saloon, Vince shows up as the emissary Ray promised to send, tasked with observing the liquor business and reporting back. Bodhi, meanwhile, has flagged that sommelier Leonardo's wines are not as old as advertised. Dwight, along with Bodhi and Backfoot, confronts Leonardo directly, and the man eventually confesses to bottling cheap wine and passing it off as premium aged product. The bigger reveal: Leonardo is not Italian at all — his real name is Lenny and he is from Paterson, New Jersey. Rather than punishing him, Dwight agrees to take a cut of the scheme going forward.
Bodhi also helps Spencer break into Margaret's laptop to retrieve a feed receipt for Fennario Ranch. Having inherited the ranch under Margaret's will, Dwight asks Spencer to manage it. In a quieter scene, Bodhi urges Dwight to grieve openly, sharing that he once lost a partner and a daughter in a car accident. Dwight takes the advice and goes to church to remember Margaret. Separately, Tyson meets Spencer to discuss the ecstasy haul from Santiago's house, but she tells him she wants out of that business — with Santiago's mystery boss already a looming threat.
