Nintendo Music Adds the Full ARMS Soundtrack — 45 Tracks, 90 Minutes
Nintendo has expanded its Nintendo Music streaming service with the complete ARMS soundtrack, bringing all 45 tracks from the 2017 Nintendo Switch fighting game to subscribers in a single album running one hour and thirty minutes.
Nintendo has added the ARMS original soundtrack to its Nintendo Music streaming service. The album contains 45 tracks and runs for one hour and thirty minutes, covering the full range of the 2017 Nintendo Switch game's music — from stage themes such as Spring Stadium and Ramen Bowl to boss encounter tracks like Hedlok Appears and Final Battle, mini-game music for V-Ball, Hoops and Skillshot, and the iconic ARMS Grand Prix Theme in several variations.
The soundtrack was composed by Atsuko Asahi, who has also worked on Animal Crossing, Pikmin 3 and Mario Kart World, and Yasuaki Iwata, whose credits include Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Animal Crossing: New Horizons and Mario Kart 8. Nintendo marked the release with the message: "Raise your hands (and arms) if you're catching the new Nintendo Music release!"
A Nintendo Switch Online membership is required to access the service on mobile, PC or in the car. Nintendo Life's original review of the game noted that "the soundtrack is as appealing as the visuals." ARMS itself remains playable on Switch 1 and received a free Switch 2 upgrade — adding improved visuals, a smoother frame rate and HDR support — when the Switch 2 launched.
