London's New Year's Eve Fireworks Tickets Go On Sale This Friday

Mayor Sadiq Khan has announced that tickets for London's world-famous Thames fireworks on 31 December 2026 will go on sale at midday on Friday 23 October, priced at £20–£55 depending on the viewing zone.

The Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, announced on 16 October 2026 that tickets for the capital's signature New Year's Eve fireworks display along the Thames will be available for purchase from midday on Friday 23 October 2026, through Ticketmaster — the sole authorised vendor. Tickets for Londoners are priced at £20 or £35 depending on the viewing area, with full-price options at £40 and £55. No profit is made by City Hall; all revenue funds the cost of staging the event. The display, synchronised with Big Ben's midnight bongs, is expected to draw approximately 100,000 people to viewing areas along the river, with millions more watching live on television and online worldwide. The Mayor urged would-be attendees to buy as soon as tickets go live, noting that demand consistently exceeds supply and that previous years have sold out within minutes. A second and final batch of tickets is to be released later in the autumn. Media accreditation applications close on 4 December 2026. Tickets purchased from any source other than the official Ticketmaster listing will be considered invalid and will not grant entry to the viewing areas. The event runs from 8pm on 31 December to 00:30 on 1 January 2027.
