The Savoy Opens the Beaufort Wine Bar with 250 Labels and Coravin Pours

The Savoy hotel on the Strand has launched the Beaufort Wine Bar on its ground floor, offering 250 wines from 18 countries with more than half available by the glass via Coravin technology, open Tuesday to Saturday from 5pm.

The Savoy hotel on the Strand unveiled the Beaufort Wine Bar in October 2026, a new offering on the hotel's ground floor that represents one of the most ambitious wine programmes in London's hospitality sector. Head sommelier Romain Audrerie oversees a list of 250 wines drawn from 18 countries, with vintage bottles dating from 1975 through to 2025, including First Growth Bordeaux and mature champagnes. Over 120 of the wines on the list can be served by the glass, made possible by the installation of Coravin technology across the bar, which preserves opened bottles indefinitely. The food menu is built around sharing plates designed to pair with the wines, as well as hand-carved jamón Ibérico and artisan cured meats served tableside from a bespoke flywheel slicer trolley. Live music, DJ sets and wine cocktails are also part of the programme. The bar is open Tuesday to Saturday, 5pm to midnight, and is located steps from the Savoy's famous American Bar and Beaufort Bar. The launch adds to the Strand landmark's recent series of updates to its food and beverage offering. Wine-industry observers described the Coravin-by-the-glass scale as unusually large for a hotel bar and noted that access to the Savoy's temperature-controlled cellars gives the list a rare depth.
