Mayor confirms New Year's Eve fireworks tickets go on sale next week
Tickets for London's 2026 New Year's Eve fireworks on the Thames go on sale 23 October, priced £20–£35 for Londoners and £40–£55 for others.
In a press release published 16 October 2026 and still leading the Mayor of London's media page on the 17th, Sadiq Khan confirmed that tickets for the capital's New Year's Eve fireworks on the River Thames will go on sale at midday on Friday 23 October through Ticketmaster. Around 100,000 people are expected to watch the show, which synchronises fireworks, lighting and music to the chimes of Big Ben as 2026 turns to 2027 and ends with a traditional Auld Lang Syne singalong. Tickets will cost £20–£35 for Londoners and £40–£55 for visitors, excluding booking fees. A final smaller batch will be released later in the year, and City Hall warned that only Ticketmaster.co.uk is an authorised seller — tickets bought elsewhere will not be valid. The Mayor emphasised the event's role in supporting London's hospitality and tourism sectors and said it was being planned closely with the Met Police, TfL and emergency services.
