London New Year's Eve Fireworks Tickets to Go on Sale This Friday

Tickets for London's world-famous New Year's Eve fireworks on the Thames will go on sale exclusively through Ticketmaster from midday on Friday 23 October, priced from £20 for Londoners and £40 for others, for an event expected to draw 100,000 spectators.

Mayor Sadiq Khan announced on 16 October 2026 that tickets for London's renowned New Year's Eve fireworks display along the River Thames will go on sale from midday on Friday 23 October, exclusively through Ticketmaster. The event, due to take place on 31 December 2026, is expected to draw around 100,000 people to the banks of the Thames, centred around the London Eye, and is watched by millions around the world on television and online. Ticket prices for Londoners with proof of residence are set at £20–£35 depending on the viewing area, while tickets for non-London residents are priced at £40–£55. The Mayor urged people to act quickly given historically high demand, and stressed that 'only tickets bought from Ticketmaster will be accepted,' warning that tickets purchased from any other source will be invalid and access will be refused. The display will feature fireworks, lighting and music to mark the transition into 2027 and reflect on the events of 2026. Proceeds from ticket sales help fund the event, which Mayor Khan described as one of the most watched New Year's celebrations in the world.
