The Pokémon Company International announced that London will host the first permanent Pokémon store outside Asia, expected to open by 2029, selling exclusive merchandise and offering in-store experiences for fans of all ages.
The Pokémon Company International announced on October 21 that London will become home to the first permanent Pokémon store anywhere outside Asia, with the opening expected by 2029. The exact location has not yet been revealed, but the store will sell exclusive merchandise and offer 'one-of-a-kind experiences for Trainers of all ages.' Gaku Susai, Chief Product and Experience Officer at The Pokémon Company International, said: 'This new London store will give visitors the chance to step into the world of Pokémon, whether they're discovering the brand for the first time or have been Trainers for years.' London has previously hosted a series of popular temporary Pokémon pop-ups — including at the Natural History Museum and the Science Museum — that drew hours-long queues. The permanent store will give UK fans year-round access to official Pokémon products without the need to travel to Tokyo. A free Pokémon Space Trail at the Science Museum is currently running and continues until January.
