London's Major Museums to Host Free South Asian Arts Festival in Summer 2027
The Great Exhibition Road Festival is partnering with Serendipity Arts to stage a free nine-day celebration of South Asian creativity across South Kensington's cultural venues from 19–27 June 2027.
London's Great Exhibition Road Festival has announced a landmark partnership with Serendipity Arts — the not-for-profit behind South Asia's largest arts festival in Goa — to create a free, nine-day multidisciplinary celebration of South Asian art and culture from 19 to 27 June 2027. The festival will span South Kensington's cultural quarter, with participating venues including the Victoria and Albert Museum, the Natural History Museum, the Science Museum, the Royal Albert Hall, Imperial College London and the Royal College of Art. An all-female curatorial team will organise programming across all partner institutions. The event will showcase established and emerging talent from India and its diaspora, with a particular focus on South Asian creatives based in London. Like existing events such as Pride and the Notting Hill Carnival, the festival is free to attend.
