World-Ranked Pizzeria Forbici Opens Its First London Restaurant at London Bridge
Forbici, ranked 83rd in the 2026 Top 100 Best Pizzas in the World and one of only two UK restaurants on that list, opened its first London location at 120 Tooley Street, London Bridge, on 27 October.
Forbici, the Manchester-born Neapolitan pizzeria, opened its first London restaurant at 120 Tooley Street, London Bridge, on 27 October 2026. The restaurant ranked 83rd in the 2026 Top 100 Best Pizzas in the World — one of only two UK establishments on the list. Forbici, whose name means 'scissors' in Italian, distinguishes itself by cutting every pizza tableside with scissors. The London menu features standout dishes including provola e pepe (tomato, smoked provola, black pepper and fresh basil) and porcini e tartufo (white pizza with fior di latte, porcini mushrooms, truffle sauce and chives). Chef Marco Pierre White praised the Manchester original, saying it had served him 'the very best pizza I've ever had in my life.' CEO Andrew Garton said: 'London feels like a natural next step for us, and we're excited to bring what we do to the capital for the first time.' The Manchester original opened last year and has since expanded to a second Manchester location and a restaurant in Sheffield, making London Bridge the brand's first capital outpost.
