All My Gods, Bethnal Green's Beloved Dive Bar, Closes on Halloween
All My Gods, the eccentric Bethnal Green dive bar founded by burlesque artist Roxy Velvet in summer 2025, will hold its final night on Halloween, 31 October, with a new venue called The Third House Collective set to take over the space.
All My Gods, a cult dive bar on Paradise Row in Bethnal Green, has announced it will close on Halloween, 31 October, after just over a year of operation. The bar was founded by Roxy Velvet, a burlesque artist, painter and tattooist, alongside the team behind Soho's now-closed Dram bar. Known for its BuzzBallz vending machine, £8 martinis dispensed by a machine nicknamed the 'Martininator', a black velvet pool table, and what Time Out called London's cheapest glass of Ruinart champagne at £13 a flute, All My Gods quickly became a cult east London nightlife destination. The bar was created as a tribute to London's defunct dive bars, particularly the Crobar. Breaking the news on Instagram, the bar wrote: 'Maybe the real gods were the friends we made along the way. We've had a really rad time.' No reason for the closure has been given, but the space will not remain empty: General Manager Bréagha Wolfgang is taking over with a new team to open The Third House Collective.
